Agia Paraskevi is located in central Lesvos, inside the inlet of Kalloni Bay, at the foot of Tavros peak, which is an eastern branch of Lepetymnos. It is built on a basin, surrounded by low mountains planted with olive trees, and small bare hills. The community is characterized as an urban lowland settlement, with an area of 101,342 km (2011) and an average altitude of 100. It is located in the center of Lesvos, being an important road junction, as the roads pass through the town Mytilene-Sigri, Kalloni-Petra and Mytilene-Mantamadou. It is four kilometers from the nearest coast, the Gulf of Kalloni. It is 4 km from the nearest shore in the gulf of Kalloni and about 39 km NW. of the capital Mytilene.
