Northwest of Loutropolis of Thermi, in beautiful Lesvos, is the village of Nees Kydonias. It is a picturesque seaside settlement that is called "Aivali of Lesvos" and is known by the name of Baltziki. If you take your walk inside the settlement you will see the traditional stone houses, the imposing mansions, the squares and the churches. In summer everyone enjoys the beaches of the area with their golden sand and clear blue waters. In the area there are rental accommodation, taverns, cafes and shops. The most beautiful spot for most is none other than the harbor with the wooden fishing boats. There they take their walk, relaxing by the sea.
